Questions about quickbooks setup
Can you fix an existing QuickBooks setup instead of starting over?
Usually, yes. Dave reviews the file first. Some setups can be repaired in place; some are faster to rebuild. He'll tell you which yours is and why before any work starts.
Do I even need QuickBooks?
Not always, and Dave will say so. Very small operations sometimes run fine on simpler tools for a while. He has worked in QuickBooks, Xero, and Google Sheets, and he'll recommend what fits your size and plans, including the honest answer.
Will you teach me to use it?
Yes. The handoff includes a walkthrough in plain language, focused on the handful of things an owner needs: reading reports, checking on cash, and knowing what to leave alone.
How long does setup take?
For most businesses, about a week from getting access to handing you a working file. More complex setups take longer, and the proposal says so up front.
